RTI International is pleased to announce that Lisa Rotondo will serve as the new Project Director for ENVISION. Having served as Deputy Technical Director since November 2011, Lisa is well-equipped to lead the next phase of ENVISION, working collaboratively with USAID, global partners and ministries of health, to meet national and global targets for NTD control and elimination. Amy Doherty will serve as Deputy Director for the project.
Eric Ottesen will continue to support ENVISION as Chief Technical Advisor to the project. “It has been a real privilege to lead this team and witness all the growth and progress that has been made in the area of NTDs. I am enthusiastic about the future - and look forward to continued engagement with this incredibly committed team. Lisa and Amy will most certainly provide the leadership needed to take the project forward,” said Ottesen.
In addition to the changes in project leadership, RTI has added staffing for two new technical areas to ENVISION. Alex Pavluck joined the team in December 2014 and will provide informatics support for RTI. Additionally, Maggie Baker will lead a newly configured team to implement ENVISION’s strategy for Knowledge Management.
